French 5th Infantry Regiment Badge - 5e RI Navarre Sans Peur Insignia on Leather

Vintage French military badge of the 5e Régiment d'Infanterie (5e RI), or 5th Infantry Regiment.

The badge features a helmeted knight motif above the regimental motto NAVARRE SANS PEUR, reflecting the regiment's historic connection with the Régiment de Navarre.

It is mounted on a shaped burgundy leather hanger with contrasting stitching and a buttonhole attachment at the top.

The reverse of the leather is stamped DRAGO PARIS NICE and retains its long pin fastening.
