2x Vintage Catholic Medal Pair St Christopher First Holy Communion Pendants

Pair of vintage Catholic religious medals, each with a decorative pale iridescent backing and raised silver-tone metal detail.

The first depicts Saint Christopher carrying the Christ Child across the water. Saint Christopher is traditionally regarded as the patron saint of travellers, making this style of medal a popular protective charm for journeys and motoring.

The second is a First Holy Communion souvenir medal featuring a raised chalice and Eucharistic host marked “IHS”, surrounded by the wording:

“Souvenir of First Holy Communion”

The reverse sides are plain and both retain their upper suspension fittings. No chains are included.

Condition: Good vintage condition with surface scratches, rubbing, tarnishing, discolouration and general age-related wear. The suspension rings are misshapen and partly open, so they may require adjustment or replacement before wearing.
