Vintage French A. Augis Virgin Mary Catholic Pendant Medal

Vintage French Catholic pendant medal by A. Augis, featuring a finely detailed raised profile portrait of the Virgin Mary surrounded by an ornate openwork border.

The reverse is decorated with an attractive radiating blue enamel design and is signed "A. Augis" beneath. The medal has a gold-tone finish and retains its original-style suspension ring and bail, ready to be fitted to a chain of your choice.

A beautifully detailed devotional piece, suits collectors of vintage religious jewellery, French medals and Catholic memorabilia.

Condition: Good vintage condition with general age-related wear. There is some wear and discolouration to the gold-tone finish, while the blue enamel remains attractive overall. Please study all photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition description.

Circa: Mid-20th century.
