Belgian silver award medal from Hainaut province, issued at the 1911 Concours de Canton for cattle breed improvement.
The obverse features a cow in profile with the bilingual inscription ROYAUME DE BELGIQUE / AMÉLIORATION DE LA RACE BOVINE / KONINKRIJK BELGIË / VERBETERING VAN HET RUNDER RAS. An engraver's signature appears near the cow's rear leg, likely J.P. Dillemans. The reverse reads HAINAUT / CONCOURS DE CANTON / 1911 within a wreath border. Original suspension loop intact.
Weighs 44.1g, consistent with silver composition. Approximately 45-50mm diameter.

Very Fine (VF). Moderate wear on the cow's high points. Hairline scratches in fields. Natural grey patina. Minor rim nick at 3 o'clock. All text fully legible.
