<h2>2 Vintage Zippo Lighters USS Donald B Beary HMCS Algonquin STANAVFORLANT</h2>
<p>Pair of vintage Zippo windproof petrol lighters decorated with naval ship crests and NATO maritime emblems.</p>
<p>The first is a slim Zippo commemorating the United States Navy frigate USS Donald B. Beary, pennant number FF-1085. One side features the ship's coloured crest and name, while the reverse shows a black silhouette of the frigate above the wording:</p>

<p>USS Donald B. Beary was a Knox-class frigate of the United States Navy. The vessel is officially recorded under the designation FF-1085. </p>
<p>The second is a standard-size Zippo featuring the STANAVFORLANT emblem, representing NATO's former Standing Naval Force Atlantic. The reverse carries the coloured crest of HMCS Algonquin with the motto:</p>
<p>A COUP SUR</p>
<p>HMCS Algonquin was a Royal Canadian Navy destroyer associated with Canadian and international naval operations. </p>
<p><strong>Condition:</strong><br>
Good vintage condition overall, with surface scratches, rubbing, marks, tarnishing and general age-related wear. Please inspect the photographs carefully for the condition of the chrome finishes, coloured emblems, hinges, inserts and base stamps.</p>
<p>Both lighters require replacement flints or similar servicing. They have not been fuelled or function-tested and are therefore sold as untested. No claim is made that either lighter is currently working.</p>

Late 20th century. The individual Zippo production dates should be established from the base stamps.</p>
