Vintage Italian Navy ANMI La Spezia Naval Association Enamel Medallion

Vintage enamel medallion associated with the Associazione Nazionale Marinai d'Italia, Gruppo La Spezia.

The front displays the Italian Navy crest, incorporating the historic maritime emblems representing Venice, Genoa, Pisa and Amalfi beneath a naval crown. The enamelled shield is surrounded by a decorative anchor-chain border.

The reverse is marked:

"Associazione Marinai d'Italia - Gruppo La Spezia"

A distinctive piece of Italian naval, maritime and veterans' association memorabilia. The loop at the top suggests the medallion may originally have been suspended from a ribbon, chain or display fitting, although no suspension is included.
