Christie’s 1997 Princess Diana Dresses Auction Catalogue Results Insert

Original Christie’s auction catalogue for Dresses from the Collection of Diana, Princess of Wales, produced for the celebrated charity auction held at Christie’s New York on 25 June 1997.

The catalogue documents the collection of dresses offered directly from Diana, Princess of Wales, with extensive photography and information relating to the individual gowns.

This example also retains two particularly useful pieces of original Christie’s paperwork:

The 1997 sale comprised 79 dresses and became one of the most significant auctions associated with Diana, Princess of Wales. The proceeds were donated to AIDS and cancer charities.

Condition:

The catalogue shows very light age-related wear, including minor surface marks, rubbing and small edge/corner wear.

The accompanying Christie’s paperwork has been folded and shows creasing and general handling wear consistent with age.
