Set of 9 Vintage Danbury Mint Westies Collector Plates by Paul Doyle

Collection of nine vintage Danbury Mint fine porcelain collector plates from the popular Westies series, featuring artwork by Paul Doyle.

Each plate depicts a different West Highland White Terrier scene, including Westies amongst flowers, woodland, grass, beside a bicycle, in a basket, beneath an umbrella and other charming countryside settings. The detailed illustrations are finished with narrow gold-coloured rims.

The reverse identifies the series as a collection of twelve fine porcelain plates produced exclusively for Danbury Mint. One of the photographed plates is titled Hide and Seek.

Please note: This listing includes nine plates from the original twelve-plate series and is therefore not a complete set.

Condition: Good vintage condition overall. One plate has a small chip to the edge (the left-hand plate in the middle row of the photographs). The remaining plates display light signs of age and handling, including minor surface wear and light rubbing. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition description.
