Vintage Italian Peltro Inciso Virgin Mary Religious Plaque

Vintage Italian devotional plaque featuring a finely detailed raised pewter depiction of the Virgin Mary with bowed head and hands held in prayer.

The silver-tone relief is mounted on a dark blue velvet-covered shield-shaped backing. The reverse retains its original "Peltro Inciso" label and is fitted with both a folding easel stand and a triangular hanging loop, allowing the plaque to be displayed on a shelf or mounted on a wall.

"Peltro" is the Italian word for pewter, while "inciso" refers to an engraved or incised decorative style, making this an attractive example of mid-century Italian religious craftsmanship.

Condition: Good vintage condition with general surface wear, rubbing and age-related marks. The velvet backing has visible dust, fibres and light handling wear.
