Vintage Anglia Semi Automatic Table Lighter Chrome LIC 10 A5/13 31 England

Rare vintage British-made Anglia semi-automatic table lighter in polished chrome finish, produced by Stewart Engineering during the immediate post-war period.

Although visually similar to traditional early lift-arm table lighters, this is actually a clever semi-automatic petrol lighter design. Pressing the spring-loaded side lever releases the cap, which flips upward while simultaneously striking the flint wheel to ignite the flame.

The distinctive base markings including “LIC 10” and “A5/13 31” are associated with the Anglia models produced in England between approximately 1947 and 1950.

Condition:
Good vintage condition. The mechanism works nicely, havent tested with fuel so may require a service, cleaning, flint replacement or adjustment before regular use, though im confident this just needs a fuel. Please study all photographs carefully for exact condition.
