Piggy by Prince PS-100 is a 15-watt solid-state combo amplifier from the 1970s, made in Nagoya, Japan by Prince Tsushinkogyo Co. Ltd. Known for its vintage clean tone, this amp was designed to deliver a sound comparable to valve-powered amps, despite being solid-state. The PS-100 includes a boost/normal input, gain and volume controls, and a simple high/low EQ for flexible sound shaping.
One unique feature of this model is the A=440Hz tuner, which provides a reference tone for tuning instruments—something rarely seen in amps from this era. The reference tone is also adjustable via an adjuster on the back of the amp.
